1. Overview

You can ask us to delete your LoopIn account and the personal information associated with it at any time. This page explains how to make that request and what happens once you do.

If your account was created by an organisation you belong to (for example, a club or group that uses LoopIn), some of your information may be controlled by that organisation. In those cases we will work with the organisation's administrator to action your request.

2. How to request deletion

To request deletion of your account and associated data, follow these steps:

  1. Email us at support@loopin.nz from the email address associated with your account.
  2. Use the subject line “Account and data deletion request”.
  3. Include your full name and, if known, the organisation (club or group) your account is linked to, so we can locate your records.

We may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request, to protect your account from unauthorised deletion.

Any information we retain is kept only for as long as necessary and is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

5. Timeline

We will acknowledge your request and complete the deletion within 20 working days, as required by the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. If your request is more complex, we will let you know and keep you updated on progress.
